Editorial methodology

Travel decisions first, changing details checked at the source.

Premier Italy explains the shape of a destination choice without turning variable transport, access, prices, opening hours, or availability into promises.

What the guides are designed to answer

The editorial focus is the decision that comes before booking: which region fits the trip, which base reduces avoidable movement, and when a rail-first plan needs a car, ferry, taxi, or separate overnight stay.

National pages provide orientation. Once the destination is clear, the dedicated local guides carry the town-level detail needed for arrival, accommodation areas, day trips, and practical trade-offs.

Verification

Details that can change belong to official channels.

Before travel, confirm train and ferry schedules with the operator, opening and access rules with the venue or municipality, and booking conditions directly with the provider.
